New Pictures of Meizu M8 and new info from J.Wong
Some new images of the new Meizu M8 have popped up via the official Meizu BBS by CEO Jack Wong, the two pictures show the sleek nature of the phone.
Also there was some comments by Jack Wong about info and release date for the new M8
The m8 will come in white, I actually always liked the white one better.
Practically speaking, the white one is the same as the original one posted by the “moderator” (?), except for some minor changes, for example, change the polished logo into a silkscreened logo. We also tried an aluminum battery cover, but polishing, the feel in hand, and also color could not reach our standards, so we gave up.
I had wanted to make a black and white m8 from the start, but 3GIP stole it away. (?)
Because everyone is used to calling it m8, we stopped using the minione name.
The 3-button design meant the buttons were too small to be comfortably used, yet when they were made bigger, it was ugly. Most importantly, because the unlocking mechanism is so convenient, we found the two extra buttons were useless. When unlocked, if you hit the “m” button, the keypad pops up. On one side of the speaker is the mute button, and the other side is the volume keys.
Here, the poster is saying that despite some people saying the buttons on the sides are invisible, it actually is there if u look carefully.
Hardware is essentially the same, but the software has been improved. First we’ll guarantee the basics, then improve the rest.
I plan to release it in October, at the latest November.
I am even more anxious than you guys, we’ve put in so much effort for so long, I also desire to see some results.
